Method of broadcasting with Traktor and SHOUTcast.

1. To set up Traktor, Audio Device of a multi channel is prepared.
For instance, it is unquestionable for it in cheap USB 5.1ch Audio device.

The device of multichannel is specified for the sound device that WINDOWS XP uses.

2. Screen of configuration utility of sound device.
It is set that it uses it as an audio card of 4ch.

3. Traktor is started.

4. Please preferences panel of Traktor is opened.
Audio Setup >> Soundcard >> Audio Device
USB Multi-channel Audio Device is selected by the pulldown.

5. Please chose Monitor to be channel of 3 and 4.
And, Please chose Master to be channel of 1 and 2.

Monitor outputs only Cue of Toraktor.
monitor is possible by the headphone or the speaker.
Please test Traktor.
Does the monitor function?

6. Setting for SHOUTcast.
Please open the control panel of the sound device. And, Audio tab is opened.

7. Please click “Volume button” of the sound recording.
next window opens.

8. Please open Properties in the menu of the option.

9. Please apply the check mark to Stereo Mix.

※The display of “Stereo Mix” might be different according to the kind of Sound device.
For instance, it might be written Stereomixer, mixing, sound redirect, and wave mix, etc.

※※ If the audio device doesn’t have the function of Stereo Mix, it is not possible to use it to broadcast with Traktor.

10. Stereo Mix appears in the volume window.
Please raise the volume of Stereo Mix.

11. Please start “Butt Broadcast software”.
“Butt” is here.

12. Please click “Settings”.
Butt is set here.

AudioDevice chooses “USB Multi-Channel Audio Device”.
And, please set “Server” and “Stream Infos”.
And, please set Stream Settings.

13. Please play Traktor.
You see the meter of Butt work.

14. When the play button of Butt is pushed, broadcasting is begun.
