If you are using WINDOWS, broadcasting can be started according to this procedure.

1. If you don’t have already Winamp installed on your computer, download it from Winamp site.

2. Download the SHOUTcast DSP plug-in for Winamp from here.

3. Install Winamp (if is not installed already on your computer) and when the installation is done close the program, if you have it already installed make sure Winamp is not running.

4. Double-click the installer file you have downloaded for the Shoutcast DSP plugin, and follow the onscreen instructions to install.

5. Start Winamp and open Preferences (CTRL-P) and click on the DSP/effects subcategory under the Plug-ins tree.See below for example:

16. Once you have the Shoutcast DSP plug-in setup and properly configured, click connect, if all is configured correctly it will broadcast whatever is currently playing on Winamp on your internet radio station in real time!
